Still awesome

This keyboard is still one of, if not the quickest keyboard application you will ever use. With that being said, Apple has given this keyboard some difficult times regarding stability. So many issues that the developer doesn’t seem interested in continuing development until these issues are fixed. It’s a shame because it really is a wonderful piece of tech for any phone to have despite the price tag on it. I personally have been having a fine time using it with iOS 11 with minimal crashing issues but some people may have differing experiences.

Finally works without constant crashing!

This poor app and developer has had issues with this app. It’s kinda awesome in what it does, but it froze constantly, pushing ppl away from it - this wasn’t because the developer was a poor one, apple has issues that they couldn’t figure out with third party keyboards.

I’m not going to lie - when you download this app, its honestly frustrating as hell because of the learning curve and making it learn how you type, but after a while it is much better and your speed will increase considerably. I bought this a long time ago, so I’m not sure of the current cost, but the one draw back I think I can think of is that you others using your phone with struggle hardcore with using it because it is such a specialized keyboard. Because of this, I still keep my ios keyboard installed so that if somebody else is typing for me they can.

Now if apple would allow for the third party apps to use Siri when you truly need to speak your text, I’d love this even more than I already do.

For the user that was having trouble typing when the dictionary didn’t have a word, you enable peck mode and then favorite it by force pressing on the word. When you do this, it adds it for the future and you’re good to go for the next time.

Final thing is to make sure you back up your words semi regularly because you don’t accidentally to lose all your stuff - what I do is put my stuff in a note and save it in icloud.

Long time user

Been using this since it first came out. It’s an off and on off again relationship honestly. Before I stopped using the keyboard because of the constant crashes and memory leaks associated with such an advanced keyboard. But it’s been well worth it. Texting and even doing essays with this style of keyboard is amazing and satisfying. It’s realist gratifying once you get the swing of things.

Newest update has made Nintype more stable than ever with almost no crashes ever. I can’t even remember the last time the keyboard would crash at all.

Now the only complaint and a very minute one at that, is that the little mini game that comes with nintype is almost unplayable. It’s very glitchy and holding the spacebar to charge the bump to the next word doesn’t really work correctly anymore.

Ultimately though that’s really a dumb and minor issue to have, but it’s a good example of how great this keyboard truly is. If this is the only issue now then it just shows how awesome nintype has become. Texting, and writing notes on your phone especially in landscape mode is a breeze and it’s amazing truly how fast you can eventually type with this keyboard. Not to mention the haptic feedback and themes you can customize and apply just adds even more content to an already amazing keyboard. Seriously a good job. Can’t ever go back to a regular touch keyboard again.
