Description

The perfect link between your digital music libraries and your HiFi system.

On the MiND (MOON intelligent Network Device) technology, your library can consist of music stored on your computer, on a Network Attached Storage (NAS) device, or you can simply stream music from a variety of internet sources.

Once your music is organized to your liking, you can play tracks, entire albums, or create playlists. MiND even allows for the use of multiple zones in your home, expanding the enjoyment of this system throughout your home. With MOON systems, you get full control of your home audio.

The concept of MiND is simple: the future of music playback lies in the intuitive organization of a library, allowing for uncomplicated access to large collections of music that are managed with incredible ease-of-use and efficiency. Sophisticated technology is required to achieve such simplicity and enjoyment. Other music streaming devices exist in the marketplace, but none currently encompass all of the features, the simple operation, nor the uncompromised sonic performance of MiND technology.

Note : A MiND unit is required for use with the MiND Controller.

Works alright but doesn’t live up to the brand

Moon makes exception audio equipment. That said, this app does not match the quality of their gear. It gets the job done but lacks the polish of their industry leading hardware.

That said, the only feature that is critically missing is the ability to utilize the Tidal Track Radio feature. Tidal’s music discovery is amazing and the Track Radio, which is the ability to start a curated radio station from any single track, is the best way to unleash this discovery. It is a huge omission from the MIND2 that this is not supported. As a result, I resort to using Tidal on my PC via USB, which means I miss out on MQA.

Hello there,
Thank you for your valuable comment. It is matter to us and with such feedback we will keep improving ourselves. Meantime, depending on your MOON model, you could still access MQA via USB from your TIDAL desktop app. Feel free to contact us directly from MiND app, Zones -> Settings gear -> App Info. & Settings -> Report a bug and we will be able to better assist you. Best regards, The MOON team

Basic functionality, but could be so much better

Basic controls all work. But why does Tidal library have a sort function for My Music but Qobuz does not for Favorites? Why, when choosing an album from My Music in Tidal, must I go back to the top of My Music when I back out? (I already scrolled past all those albums and want to continue scrolling down.) I think if the programming team actually used this app - can they even afford Moon gear? - it could be way more functional. Or maybe if the Simaudio people used the app.

iOS 16.2 causing MiND shutdowns

I just updated my iPhone 14 Pro to the latest iOS 16.2, and suddenly it’s causing my 380D DAC to shut down. I think it’s related to the MiND and the MiND controller app. If your iPhone goes into screen saver mode and you open it back up while it’s streaming to the MiND, it causes the DAC/MiND to completely shut down and turn off. You can use the app then to turn it all back on again. I’m running the latest MiND controller and have an internal MiND2 unit.

Developer Response ,

Hello. Sorry for the late response. If your problems have persisted, we have a support team available to assist you. Feel free to contact us directly through the app (Zones screen -> Settings wheel -> App info and settings -> Report a bug). Regards. The Moon Team
