Description
This is the companion app to TC-Helicon's Perform-V, a mic-stand mounted vocal processor that opens up a whole new world of performance opportunities for singers.
The Perform-V Companion app offers 1000+ preset sounds which can be "beamed" over-the-air from your iOS device to the Perform-V with nothing but your iPad or iPhone's external speaker.
Simply select a preset, hold your iPhone or iPad next to Perform-V's room-sense microphone, then press "Beam". The preset takes about 4 seconds to transfer via an audio signal which sounds like a Fax machine or an old computer modem to the human ear.
For instant preset transfer, use the Apple Camera Connection Kit and enable "Instant Preset Transfer" mode.

- Greatly improved Audio beam success rates on iPhones, particularly X and XR, audio should only come out of the Bottom speakers now. Issue was the ear speaker was also playing the sound and conflicting. Note this also dramatically lowers the required volumes to transmit the data with Audio.

Does not work for direct transfer
Previous versions worked fine for direct transfer of songs when hooked via usb cable. This new version does not work for that
The Perform V is Phenomenal!!!! *IGNORE OTHER REVIEWS*
I searched months and months for a vocal effects processor that I could use for my gigs (Acoustic that is). I finally decided to get the Preform V and thank god I did! This thing is no joke. If you follow correct instructions this product will be a game changer for any vocalist out there! Seriously.
The only downside to this product is the issue with the micstand. Which if you’ve got a little spare time and some minor crafting skills you can DIY something to resolve this. Regardless this product is FREAKING AMAZING!!! Don’t waste countless hours searching like I did. Using The preform V along with this App makes you’re confidence and skill 10x better!
Beaming presets is a little difficult, due to the lack of description they give you to make sure you get the right one and not spend hours looking through them all. But that’s not changing my mind! 5STARS FOR THE APP AND FOR THE TC HELICON PREFORM-V
Great idea, poor execution
All the promises and thing doesn’t work. App does not sync to Perform V module at all. Right out of the box, updated firmware. Then hooked up mic, PA, aux in music source.
No luck getting it to load presets, one of the reason I looked forward to this device. Can’t sync any of the base setting from computer either.
Another thing, all the in-ap links to their web page and support docs don’t work. So you are stuck finding answers on your own.
Over promised and way under delivered. Basically a useless ap, for marketing only. To get answers , you have to join there “tribes” just to get something to work.
