Description

The free Fast Parts Wi-Fi® Thermostat App is designed to utilize smart phone swipe/scroll/touch technology to provide easy to use programming for the Wi7 Wi-Fi® Thermostat in homes or businesses. It utilizes vibrant colors with easy to understand icons and gives complete control of the operation of the heating and cooling system from anywhere you have Wi-Fi® connectivity. With this powerful app, you can easily review thermostat settings and adjust programming as desired and the screens of the Wi7 App mirror those of the actual Wi7 Wi-Fi® Thermostat, so it is extremely easy to use. There are also 'alert notifications' sent to the app if issues are detected such as filter replacement reminders. The installing dealer's information is provided to make it easy to contact them for service if needed.

It does it’s job, I guess.

We got this thermostat with a new install and we’ve had it less than a week and I’m ready to go spend money on something else. The app is dang near impossible to read. White font on an orange background in size 8(?) point font. Why? It doesn’t even look good so I’m struggling to understand. I need to set the program and I toggle to it and just get frustrated because it’s such a stupid set up. I’m not an old person trying to do this. I’m tech savvy. This is just a terribly set up app.

Reading reviews has me concerned. We have other thermostats with better apps, not great, but better.

No longer in business

We received this thermostat with a new install. There is zero support and zero customer service. The website is no longer existent. Our thermostat died today and it’s 105 degrees out. There’s no rhyme or reason to the app and no way to get any support through the app. Terrible.

Good, but a little clunky

So far, I'm liking the Wi7 thermostat. It would be helpful if the programming page listed the name of the thermostat you're trying to program (at the top of the screen). It would also be helpful to show that blue = cool and red = heat. And while you're at it, it would be nice if the Wi7 website had a way of leaving feedback.
