I apply for a gig an I’m put on standby forever there are only two job I got from this app the Oracle baseball stadium and one time at the Twitter building but I never got a job anywhere else an it is Really discouraging that any job I apply for just puts you on stand by. No how are you Supposed to build up your profile on there when all the jobs put you on standby and you don’t really get a shot to really build up your work performance with blue crew? You guys should make something where the new people can actually get a chance to get the jobs and just keep the older people something separate idk but the new ppl like me looking for work should get a chance Because it was left up to the algorithm it’s only going to pick the people who have the most work history not the new people

If there’s a job available and you complete it. Bluecrew will suspend your account without valid reason. Then make you answer 20 questions about your assignment before they will pay you. The front office people are ignorant and rude. You will constantly be asked to verify your clock in and clock out times even though you’ve made your punches through the app. They will not pay you until you’ve replied to a list of 20 questions where did you clock in what time was it. What was your supervisors name. What where the names of the people you worked with. What did you do on your assignment. What time did you clock out? Where did you clock out. How many hours did you work. It’s all things they already have the answers to. They just want to make it difficult so they don’t have to pay you. If you don’t respond to the questions in the format the request you won’t be paid. Then they will tell you your account is under investigation and you can’t work or get paid until the investigation is complete. Long story short don’t waste your time there are far better options. Unless you like your time wasted they are professionals in that department.

Wish I could give NO STARS, they lack communication when it comes to responding with job situations. I had all my proof of employment and recordings of being asked to return to a job at DePaul University. The lady over there told me I wasn’t supposed to be there and was stealing time. It’s takes for the company to complain or a review on here in order for you to have some type of response. I’m reporting them to the BBB. I wrote this review originally in November 2021, I had to update this because after trying to reach out and contact Bluecrew on the matter still multiple times throughout email and the inactive bluecrew app. No one gave me and response in reference to my complaints. I’d even worked jobs that I wasn’t compensated for. What’s sad is I’ve been using this app since they first came out, I was recommending it to a lot of people in the Chicago area. Next thing you know a year and a half later, a lot of people trying to tell me about the app. It just encourage me to keep picking up on other platforms. Luckily these just be side gigs for me!!
