GolfQuis is a learning app with the defined purpose of helping golfers to learn and remember the current rules of golf. GolfQuis is different from other forms of learning because it is based on the principle of gamification.
The questions in GolfQuis
Based on the 24 Rules of Golf, GolfQuis contains more than 2,100 quiz questions on six levels. The questions are designed so that the player will come across most of the rule situations that he or she will encounter on the golf course. More questions are continuously being developed. All of the questions are created by golf professionals and audited by certified national and international golf referees.
The Game
You can play solo games, match games against an opponent, or participate in tournaments. The game includes a handicap system that is reminiscent of what you know from the golf course. Just like on the golf course, the handicap system allows you to play against other players no matter you or your competitor’s level. Whatever type of game you prefer, you will learn every time you play a round of GolfQuis.
Experienced or new golfer?
GolfQuis is recommended for both experienced players and new golfers who want to learn or become better acquainted with golf rules. It can also be for anyone who wants to have fun with golf outside the golf course.

The purchase of the annual subscription will be settled through your Apple ID account upon the purchase confirmation. The subscription will automatically be renewed upon expiration unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of your current subscription period. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store accounts settings after the purchase. You waive any remaining trial period when you subscribe. Challenging!
This app is challenging and really makes you think about every answer. it’s a great way to learn the rules. I think it would be helpful if the developer reference the The number of the actual rule. I find myself wanting to dig deeper, but don’t really know where to start. I enjoyed using it and would recommend it. I find the pricing reasonable at its current level.

I haven’t started the App. I just downloaded and knew automatically I am going to enjoy it as a learning tool because I have never played Golf.
I am only confused about the into directions on page 5/5! Is there a typo? 😊
Felt Like a Bait and Switch
Downloaded and was using. Lots of typos and such, but OK. Then all of a sudden my “Free Trial” was over and they wanted $5. I don’t mind apps charging, but I had no idea I was in a trial period.
If they want to charge, this app should be much better. You should be able to link to the specific rule being quizzed on and even an explanation. Also, too many of the same question kept popping up. Yes, I know if you hit a person or equipment by accident, there is no penalty. This would come up multiple times on each quiz. Silly.
I’m going to wait to pay for a better constructed app.
