Not a good database yet
Nearly everything I scanned was not in the database and the app prompts to “help us out by scanning the info, labels, ingredients etc. Could potentially be a good tool however I wasn’t able to see much functionality since none of the foods I scanned were recognized.
Great app for public health!
FoodSwitch is not only helpful for understanding the food I’m eating, but getting a better sense of the whole food supply. I’m excited to see updates and growth of this app!
Try again
Could be useful if its database were larger. I’ve tried to send info for unrecognized foods but after taking all four required photos, I’m always told to “try again.” Developers, try again!
