Go Buses 4+

I travel often from NYC to Alexandria, VA. Best bus service by far. Whenever I took greyhound the bus was always hours late and I mean 2-3 hours late leaving port authority. I found GoBus and have used it ever since. Decent pricing, very easy ride, they try to stick to the schedule and have water for all costumers on board! Not to mention they have multiple stops outside the larger cities.

The app seems pretty straightforward. It easily loads my information, shows me how many points I have and how many I’m going to get, and shows me where to enter the promo codes I get often from the company. However, it doesn’t give me an option to apply loyalty points to my purchase; I can do it on the website but not on the app. I called customer service and reached a man and a woman. The man was pleasant but had no experience with the app and couldn’t help, and the woman was very rude and kept saying that it probably just wasn’t loading “because of my browser,” when I wasn’t even USING the browser, I was using the app (I told her this). I have no issues with the site or booking when I use the browser but figured I’d try the app out. I will not be using this app until this is fixed.

The bus was supposed to arrive destination at 8pm. But the bus stopped in the middle of nowhere (2 hours from destination) at 8:30pm. Then the driver said his hours were up and let more than 30 passengers to go home by our own means. I called the company and they had no clue. I called 911 and then a state police officer arrived. Eventually they found a new driver and got us to the city. I arrived home at mid night. This was literally the most terrible bus service I ever had. I will file a lawsuit against them.
