Almost Exactly What I Want
I appreciate the simple interface the the ability to jot down notes summarizing the feelings that I'd experienced during the day. Unlike other users I like that there is only one summary entry for the day. I plan on looking at monthly data and not spending much time analyzing variations by the hour.
There are a couple of things I would like to see in the app. First, the ability to update and have data available across devices. Second, optimization for iPad Pro so that the screen rotates to the correct orientation when using the keyboard. Otherwise, this app is great so far. Thank you!
no frills, effective
The simplicity of this app is really its best feature. If you're looking for an easy-to-use, no frills mood tracker without the social media community aspect, this is it. You can also post-date entries, which is nice.
Interface could be a little slicker. Also, it is difficult to access the journal portion of past entries. On the trends screen, you can scroll through them but the text box is so small you can't read the whole entry. When you tap on the entry itself, it highlights but doesn't expand or open. Annoying.
Pretty good
The app does what it claims to do and does it well. For that I give 4 stars.
Usability is one place where the app falls behind. The tabs should be at the bottom of the screen, not the top. In this age of phablets, putting tiny (difficult to tap) tabs and buttons at the top of the screen seems like esthetic decision rather than usability decision. All the primary controls should be easy to tap and easy to reach.
Other than that, the app has exactly what it needs and nothing more.
Overall, it is a great product. Many thanks to the developers who worked hard to deliver.
