Description
Access essential fleet information while on the go with the GPS Insight Manager app. As a GPS Insight customer, easily interact with your fleet through maps, messaging, filters, and vehicle information all from the convenience of your iOS device. The GPS Insight Manager app puts fleet vehicle information and driver activity at your fingertips, empowering you to manage your fleet away from the office.
Primary features include:
· Map – View vehicle details and history trails on a map.
· Messaging – Call or message a driver/vehicle.
· Vehicles – View vehicle details in list format.
· Landmarks – View landmarks and closest vehicles to them.
Please Note: The data in your GPS Insight Manager app is only accessible to users with a valid GPS Insight login (username and password combination). Your GPS Insight user profile determines your basic contact information and the vehicles, and groups you see. Simply use the same user credentials that you use to log into the web version of the GPS Insight portal.
Manager may use GPS in the background to show your location relative to your fleet. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. The app attempts to do this in the most efficient manner possible to retain battery life.

Ratings and Reviews
App Not Refreshing
This app would be great if the data refreshed on its own. We just recently switched from another gps company and there app refreshed every 30 secs or so automatically. With GPS Insight I have to manually push “refresh all data” in order to get the current information on our trucks otherwise all the data and locations stay at the last point that you refreshed. All of the online info that I read on GPS Insights help page suggests the data should always be refreshing on its own. But that is not the case. So if you are someone who is not always at there desk and need to rely on the app to get vehicle information from a phone or tablet this platform might not be for you. I have submitted my concerns thru the app and via email to GPS Insight 2 weeks ago and they have yet to respond...🤔
Group Display
We have a fleet of about 250 vehicles, and looking for one truck out of that many is challenging. If your group settings showed up and remained accessible that’d be great.
It doesn’t !!!!
Very unsatisfied with the whole process.
I’ve uninstalled, powered down, logged off, and re-booted more time than I care to comment on.
The app needs a major overhaul.

I spend most of the week at different job sites with my technicians and equipment, so I am rarely at my desk. The GPS Insight Manager app allows me to view and manage my fleet easily. It is a huge help when I am able to dispatch my closest technicians to a customer who calls in requesting immediate service.
