Ratings and Reviews
/a/ and /o/ need work
The concept of this app is great but I can't use it in my kindergarten room because the /a/ sound sounds like and /e/ sound and the /o/ is way off. It's difficult to teach vowel sounds and an app reinforcing the wrong sounds just won't do.
Totally underrated for age
This is rated for age 4+ but I would absolutely start with age 2 or even less. The words are very basic and no challenge at all for my almost 3 grandson who actually reads at a third grade level. Not that he’s genius but any normal kid can learn at a very young age given the chance and adequate attention. Also the picture illustrations are way too small.
Great for refugee boy
I discovered this app while waiting in Labor & Delivery! Young five year old who has only begun learning English this year needed distraction while his baby brother was trying to enter the world. This really kept his attention!
