Best 531 app out there

I’ve been using this app for the past three years training using the 5/3/1 program. Does the calculations so you can focus on getting stronger. Follows the program including the main variations. Allows custom assistance exercises to be added as well. All the typical tools like plate loader calculations are included. I really like the 1 rep max and volume graphs to show progress too. My only recommendations would be:
1. Allow negative weight numbers for beginners on body weight exercises like band-assisted dips and band-assisted pull ups,
2. Add an option to record zero reps to allow failures on the last set of the 5/3/1 week, and
3. If a zero is recorded on that final set, add an option to automatically adjust down your training max per the Wendler calculations.
Even without these upgrades, it’s a great app. Money well spent.

Quirks and Bugs but overall good

I will give it a 4. Could have been much better. The asistance exercise list is not large enough. There is not even a bent over row listed. So when I try to add one to the list it doesn't except, gives me an error pop up for a millisecond that I can not even read. Also when I went into settings to see if the assistance exercise list would change to change the template, all my recorded exercises are gone from the previous sessions. I have to now setup all new assistance exercises for the routines. When you by mistake save a session well good luck, it seems like there is no turning back. You should be able to go to calendar and delete that session. Other quirks exist. It is a good and simple app but can be definitely a lot better. Make user interface that data can be added or taken out, and if a session is not saved intentionally give the option to re-do the session.

Mostly this app is terrific

I use it religiously based on a buddy who went through a total transformation. I'm 44 and I am much stronger, get serious complements (yes, I'm not shallow, but I do like affirmation), and in general, the way this app works, including adding my own exercises is excellent. There are lots of settings, but the basic function is great. I've been using this app for about 1 year plus. Bench from 185 to 290 (Max stat)...so doing 225 doesn't scare me now. Deadlifts from 0 to 335. Overhead press 95 to 123...but that was with a 4 month downtime for injury. Squat, similarly from nearly nothing to 295. Here is what I want to see improve: 1. Sometimes the weight counter randomly counts up until I exit; if I delete an exercise, i marks other exercises as bold/not done. 2. Bodyweight exercises?? 3. Apple watch? <-- this would be great.
