HOW DOES IT WORK?
Request a consult - Activate your account through the mobile app or online and request a consultation with a doctor.

Speak with a doctor – a board certified Doctor licensed in the state you are located will reach out to you within minutes. The doctor will discuss your symptoms and recommended treatment.

Pick up prescription – If your doctor deems it medically necessary, a prescription will be sent to the pharmacy of your choice.

GREAT service - give it a try

As professional as it gets. Friendly and POLITE customer service reps working as efficiently as I’ve seen to collect necessary info. Smart doctors asking relevant questions during consultation and making sure they are meeting your needs. This service is legitimate and I would highly recommend giving it a shot the next time you need some help from the comfort of your own home. From initial outreach until the time I had the medicine I needed was only 1 hour!! No waiting rooms! No headaches! Great stuff

Needs better process for joining appointments

Update: Thanks for the prompt response WellVia. I wasn’t aware I needed to open the app at the appointment time. This should definitely be more clear when setting up the appointment. Sending push notifications from the app at the appointment time would also be very helpful and would probably cut down on the time your schedulers spend on the phone trying to sync doctors with patients. The design of the app is actually really pretty but the process for connecting with a doctor is garbage. Every time I’ve used the app I have waited at my appointment time for the app to send a push notification that my doctor is ready for my video call. Never a single notification at my appointment time. 15 to 20 minutes later I’ll finally get a non-video phone call. Talked to support and they suggested I log out and log back in again 5 minutes before each appointment. Really??!! Your whole business revolves around a mobile app that makes doctors appointments and it won’t notify me on my device when my appointment is ready? I’m supposed to know to log out and log in again? Get it together WellVia.

Hey there, sorry for the confusion around joining your video visits. You don't have to wait for a notification to join, at your visit time when you log into the app you will see a button that says 'Join Call' on the dashboard on your scheduled visit, once you press this you will enter the video room with the doctor. If the doctor has not joined yet, you will have a waiting screen and once the doctor joins they will appear on your screen as well. We're sorry for the confusion and hope this helps explain the process better for next time and we will work on making sure this is more clear for users. Have a great day!

Physician that would not listen

It was disheartening to hear that a physician that called me refused to listen or look at my sons past history when making recommendations. Everything was over the counter and after explaining he gets bronchitis and it won’t go away until I take him to the hospital if he doesn’t have an antibiotic she stated “well you should take him to the hospital then because I’m not prescribing that”.

I have never been discredited as a mother when discussing my sons Heath. We have used WellVia before and every time got what we needed and he was good to go but this time was not the case. It’s sad my insurance pays 100% for us to use when it’s not beneficial for families. We ended up doing his Kelsey seybold doctor and getting what we needed, but it was not the experience we have had in previous years and the physicians were not well trained in customer service or how to care with compassion and listen to parents when they know their children’s history.
