BISSELL

The mop feature of this machine is amazing. Lifts heavy dirt traffic from my 4 dogs up easily. Only downside is I have to clean the pads and fur out of the spin brush on every use. Still beats vacuuming and mopping everyday. I make sure the pads are clean in the morning and start the mop everyday. Smells fresh and easy to maintain. I wish there were strips to stop the mop from going to certain areas behind the couch near cords. I just use a blocking strip from another device I have

1st day & the app has issues

I have GREAT internet connection in my area. When the machine wouldn’t go into an area of my living room, I turned it off, picked it up to place it there. I set down, turned it on, went to press ‘play’ on the app & the app actually froze my apple pro max 12. I couldn’t turn it off to restart & my phone didn’t recognize my charger when I plugged it in whilst waiting for to unfreeze. The only thing showing was the BRISSELL logo before it goes into the app. I started to feel very scared about my phone… thankfully my phone eventually started up again.

I plan on calling BRISSELL the morrow to find out how to open the little bin because directions say it should be open by pulling the bit apart w/ your hands & not pressing anything, yet it won’t. I’m going to ask them about the app issues & if there is anyway to get the machine to move all over my apartment w/out having to painfully help guide it. One had to do so 4xs. I wiped off the sensors & made sure there wasn’t any debris in the wheels… still have to guide it.

At the moment, it’s on mop mode & after guiding it to go into the dinning & kitchen area… I’m leaving it to do it’s thing & I’m just going to see what it does on its own.

Robot is pretty good. App not so much

I would really like a lot more information in the app. To start with, I’d like to know how charged the battery is. I’d say that was a pretty common and basic need. I’d also like a map of the robot’s location as well as the ability to turn the robot on or off with the app. When I set the schedule, I expected it to come on at the scheduled time. It didn’t and the power was turned on. It would also help to know an estimation of the power that each level of cleaning takes. The first time I set it to max and it only covered half my bedroom. The next night I set it to lo and it covered the whole room. That’s quite a difference. Also the instructions are not always very helpful. I had the devil of a time opening the dry vac box. I kept thinking that I was going to break it if I pulled too hard. Finally it opened and, after that, it opened easily. Some instructions on where to pull it open would help. I still like the vacuum, but, like I said, the app, not so much.
