This frantic space shooter is perfect for quick doses of action. Dragging in a circle to aim our cannons and blast endless asteroids is fun straight out of an arcade. We fought to survive between each power-up, but in Circuroid, even dazzling special weapons are no substitute for good aim, fast reflexes, and a little luck.
Correction needed
To game developer: in your description of this game you’ve chosen to use “challenge your reflexes” as a descriptor; however, that’s actually incorrect to say. Reflexes: are an involuntary response the body uses to avoid danger (hand + hot metal = burn...) receptors are triggered which send signals via a sensory neuron to your spinal cord and passed on to a motor neuron which triggers a muscle or gland to be stimulated. By bypassing the brain, signals being sent through the body are sent and received far quicker. The brain takes time to process and determine a response/outcome.
What you’re looking for is: reaction time. Reaction time is a conscious decision. They are slower than reflexes, but unlike reflexes, reaction times can be improved with practice. *to a certain extent, within reason.
A more suitable line would be:
Test your awareness and reaction time.
Probably wouldn’t hurt to include that repeated play can significantly improve skill. Awareness is linked with reaction time: they aren’t the same, but they can be improved.
great game but glitch
I LOVE this game, I currently am number 1 on the duo record list but I am trying to beat Zakku on normal mode now, while playing normal mode I emcountered a glitch with the plasma tracker, A certain part of the circle, around the top a little to the left, the plasma tracker will just keep shooting there and the bullets/ shots dont disappear. Because of this if there is a asteroid on top and you try shooting it you can’t, it will just lock on to the glitched location where the rest are stuck, I have only encountered this twice and it has been in the same or close to same spot each time making me die once but I was only at 164 so it wasn’t that big if a deal. I will rate this 5 star when it is fixed but I’ll leave it at 4 star for now.
