Professional Review

I have been looking for a method to convert my record keeping to electronic or on-line means for a number of years. I could not find a record keeping method that would allow electronic documentation concerning the uniqueness of play therapy or sand tray therapy. The PsychScribe app has just what I need to convert my play therapy , sand tray sessions and even adult sessions, to electronic records. This app has the child assessment, directive and non- directive play session pages, a sand tray page, and the ability to take pictures and upload to the patients file!!! Easy!! In addition a family session, couple session or individual session can be easily documented as well. This app is also HIPPA compliant.
The more I use it the more I like it!!

It was good but not good cv ,

iOS App Lacks Necessary Features to Use Program on iPhone

I’ve used several other HIPPA compliant apps, programs, and other formats, and as a LCSW with a growing number of clients, I am still seeking a consistent, comprehensive interface that I can use across my iOS devices, which also has the ability to facilitate management of my private practice workload through an electronic system.
I knew that even with one review it would be worthwhile for me to give it a chance since it isn’t an in app purchase and therefore I would have nothing to lose but the time that it took me to install the app, and then input a client’s demographics to implement the programming for a test run. However after entering the first client’s information, I was disappointed to discover that this is where the trial ended for me since apparently PsychScribe lacks the necessary HPH extension of mcrypt to save the client’s information, and likely to be able to proceed any further than entering that initial portion.
Now to be fair, it may just be an oversight for the iOS iPhone and perhaps it would work perfectly with my practice iPad, however I don’t oftentimes carry my iPad outside of my office anymore so even if it does work, it would be rendered useless since it is void in the service option I am most seeking for multi device use.
Again, since this is not an in app purchase I don’t feel as if I’ve been cheated, mislead, or given any misimpression as to what the app’s capabilities were advertised as having been included on the app. Even still, I believe that it seems to be a pertinent enough issue/error/oversight that the manufacturer should wish for an informed notification so that they may be able to address it’s lack of compatibility to be used with iPhone iOS devices. Beyond understanding these facts of what I can only presume to be limited errors and subsequent edit warring needs that should address its device-specific preclusion, there is a plausible potential that it may work for strict iPad/Mac iOS users, although this is something that I can personally attest to either way.
