Koi Pond Live HD 4+

Boy do I feel rooked! Do not buy this!!!!! The icon is the same as one of my favorite apps that quit working with iOS 11 (thanks Apple!). I was so upset that it didn’t work anymore. I went to the App Store and typed Koi Pond... lo and behold there it was! I deleted my old app (😡) and installed this... thing. (Surely the ONE review was mistaken) Talk about a bait and switch! It’s just little movies or some such nonsense of fish swimming. Not the Koi Pond of old where you could create your pond and interact. Uh... why did they use the same icon??? I guess to get my .99 again and they did. Very disappointed. These developers should be ASHAMED of themselves. How about fixing the OLD app (which I’ve now deleted so will never get back if there’s a work around!!!) so it plays on the new iOS?!?!?! DO NOT BUY! AVOID this seller! Voice your opinion of App Store thieves such as this. Leave reviews!

The only interaction with this "koi pond" is to make a still live photo type screen shot animate by touching it. The original koi pond had few interactions but they definitely produced an effect (my kids favorite thing is to scare the fish by splashing the water). Unfortunately this one has no such interaction in spite of the description, and the old one will not be supported much longer. The only similarity is the icon (which was clearly lifted directly from the original). Don't bother with "app support " as it just takes you to an "app of the day" sales site, which was actually infuriating enough to get me to write this review rather than just blow off the 99 cents lost.

I enjoyed original Koi Pond. I read the reviews for this product, but a version summary implied several recent “fixes” so I took a chance. Don't bother; all those one-star reviews still apply. This is worth less than one star. It really is bad video clips of live fish in shallow tanks. There's no “dragging your finger” through the water or anything else similar to the original...no beautiful animation; no interaction; no control over lighting, background, fish, flora, insects, effects, sounds. This is a piece of crap, falsely advertised. Does not do what the description says it will do.
