Crow Distance provides approximate straight line measurements between pins. Easily move the pins. Refine your pin locations by moving them after zooming in on the map. The app is perfect for line of sight activities
Recently, I needed to install an antenna so I could improve the internet service at my cabin. I found this app was perfect in showing which direction to point the antenna.
All I had to do was place a pin on the map where my cabin is cabin and a pin on the cell tower, and the app drew a straight line showing me exactly which way to point the antenna.
It saved me a lot of work trying to adjust the antenna 5 degrees at a time and then checking for signal strength.
Another update gone bad
It was a great app before the update. Tap tap and you got the information you needed. Now you have to tap then qualify why you tapped then tap again. Them go to the next spot and repeat the process. Six taps later you get your distance you needed. Too bad

The basic functioning hasn’t changed from the beginning. Long-press to drop pins. The last distance will be selected and show its measurement. Two long-presses is all you need. Tapping pins or lines however will give you new options in addition to displaying their measurements.
