Why do I need it?
Did you know your contact lenses prescription is not the same as the one for your eyeglasses? That's right. The prescription provided by your optometrist is only valid for your eyeglasses. As contact lenses sit directly on your eyes, which is much closer compared to your glasses, your prescription needs to be adjusted accordingly.

Nope!
The app doesn’t take in to account vertex distance and tries to mask too much cylinder. I tried to use the calculation for a few fittings I’ve done with patients and the visual acuity of those patients were horrible. I went back to the old school way of calculating an RX. This may get you close in a spherical lens fit but it’s off. Don’t rely on this app.

Pointless
Don’t understand why you would ever use this app. Yes, it gives you the prescription value, but you can’t do a thing with it. Absolutely useless.
