Description

This CredibleMeds Mobile App supports the CredibleMeds.org website which maintains and posts lists of drugs in categories that reflect their ability to prolong the QT interval on the electrocardiogram and/or cause the life-threatening heart arrhythmia, torsades de pointes (TdP).

The CredibleMeds Mobile App was developed for patients with Congenital Long QT Syndrome, healthcare professionals and research scientists in order to provide them with ready access to the most up-to-date version of the CredibleMeds lists of drugs.

The App also provides background information on the categories of drug risk and explains the relationship between QT prolongation and TdP.

For healthcare professionals and research scientists, the QTdrugs Lists can be used to identify which drugs can cause QT prolongation or TdP.

For patients with Congenital Long QT Syndrome, the drugs and risk categories are described and presented separately as the Drugs to Avoid in cLQTS.

Needs category search

App is easy to use, but I like the website feature of obtaining a list of all drugs by risk category. It would be nice to have that in the app, as well as search by drug name rather than brand name. Otherwise very happy have this app.

Thank you!

I just made a donation to Azcert because this app has been so helpful to me. I have relatives with LQT and I don’t know where we would be without your published information. We have corrected several errors that doctors have made in prescribing medicines, even when the LQT is on the med charts. Thank you for all you do!

Best app

This app is honestly the best thing I never realized how much I actually need it and there’s so many new drugs coming up and it’s great to have an app to find what drugs you shouldn’t take
