Description
Have you ever sent a message that you regretted or that you did now want to send?
"Hide Messages" gives you the possibility to hide these messages. You simply drag the "Hide Messages" sticker over a message and it will disappear.
Attention:
iMessage's built-in delete feature is only deleting the message on your device. Your chat buddy can still see the message.
If you blank out a message with "Hide Messages", your chat buddy sees, your chat partner sees a blank space, where once the message has been.
Tip:
Drag the "Hide Messages" sticker several times over a message, if the message is big. And send another message afterwards (this will move the "sent"-notification to the bottom).
When you are looking for the sticker and can´t find it: it is white only!

Can't get the app to work
I can't figure out how to make this app work. How do I find a white strip to cover a text message?
Update: After numerous email messages with app support, I still can't get this app to work.

Hi and sorry to hear. It is working and it is kind of a trick: When you select the sticker, you will only see a blank space. The sticker itself is in the upper left corner (as suggested in the screenshots). Click and hold on that upper left corner and drag the sticker over a message (you can and sometimes need to do that several times to fully hide the message).

Yes. It works.
It is a bit of a trick, because you are taking a white box (which is what you want to cover the offending text/pic/gif/whatever!!) and moving it to iMessage. Follow the instructions, you WILL find it and it will work. Also you can pinch and expand it to cover larger spaces.
Be aware that if the other iPhone is using the Dark Theme.... it will indeed appear as a white box and they will be curious as to what was covered up. 🤪

Thanku so much for whoever invented it I love, you saved my life cuz I accidentally sent someone a message that wasn’t supposed to go to them and it was a serious matter and this app saved me. Thanks Once again keep up worth the good work.
