Description

On flights with Lufthansa A350, A330, B747-8 and B787, enjoy a piece of home on board with the LH Entertainment App. Control your seat screen conveniently with your own smartphone or tablet.
Create your personal playlists from the comfort of your device before your flight from home or on the way to your flight. Your selection will be synchronized with the in-flight entertainment system as soon as you have connected to your in-seat screen.
The LH Entertainment app also provides you with up-to-date flight information and a moving map.
To use the LH Entertainment app as a remote control for the in-flight entertainment system on board your flight, first connect to the "Telekom_FlyNet" WiFi on board and then pair your personal device with the in-seat screen.
Please note that this app only works on flights with a Lufthansa Airbus A350, A330, B747-8 or B787.
On Lufthansa flights an Airbus A330, A340 or B747-400 you need another version of the Entertainment App. You can find this in the App Store under Lufthansa Entertainment, recognizable by a gray app icon.

not sure what the point of this is

I guess this is supposed to mirror the inflight entertainment system. But why? You have a screen right in front of you with the same content.

As other people have mentioned, it would be incredibly useful to be able to connect a set of bluetooth noise cancelling headphones, since the airline-provided free airbuds do such a poor job.

Other things that would be very useful to have on the flight: summary of your current flight info. arrival/connection gate if known. Map of destination airport. Maybe even frequent flyer stats, ordering food or duty free, etc. A downloadable in-flight app is an incredible idea, but this one isn't well executed.

Wireless headphones???

I was initially excited to see this app because I wanted to connect my wireless noise canceling AirPod pro headphones to the seat back. I can’t connect my wireless headphones directly to the seat back, so what better way to accomplish this, than to have an app to pair your phone with your seat back, then send audio through this link? Voila! No more wires! And happy passengers enjoying a less noisy flight experience. But this app is totally pointless and lacks even this most basic, MVP functionality… deleting it prior to my return flight.

Embarrassing for a company like LUFTHANSA

No function whatsoever couldn’t connect in both flights different planes……. Outside the plane with mobile data it just Hyperlinks you to LH-page…… nice idea but it’s like they wanted something and started it and then immediately stopped working on it and left it totally unfinished……… just simply a total embarrassment for their company I can’t believe that the reviews are over a year and still the same complaints and no one fixes it.
