Surprised!
The cameras are surprisingly affordable but quality design. The video is clear and you get a lot the surrounding area. I point my cameras out the window. The only issue I had with that is the IR does not work well looking through windows. However, perhaps because the street is lit up, I can see quite clearly through the camera at night.
I have the ring door bell as well, but when I try to pull up a live video, it takes about 2 minutes or more. The LARKKEY cameras pull live video in about 5 seconds or less.
Video freezing since last update
I've been very very happy with the 2 cameras I have and intending to a add a 3rd one but since the last update, when they added the dual screen view, the video keeps freezing and I had to exit and then enter again. I know my connection is good. Please fix this. Thank you
It serves the purpose but it’s “bread and water”
It serves the purpose but that’s about it. Cameras are great. But App does not serve them well. Need to build app so it will rotate correctly on iPad. Not everyone wants to view all the time on a tiny phone screen. You cannot download videos. When I “click to view” it does not bring me to that clip, just the screen to see the cloud video channel in general. And everything is not “human detection”. A bird flies up it calls it “human detection” a bug goes by “human detection” ... a possum comes on the deck ... human detection. A deer...
Well you get the point. Also was not aware that the “cloud storage” fee was PER DEVICE. Not per family or account. That’s insane. At least have a package deal. it is a shame the cameras are good but the app is garbage.
