Needs updated

The app works ok overall as far as I know, I always have it on and open and my internet works fine. But I’m a little worried about accuracy since this app hasn’t been updated even though Apple is constantly sending out new iPhone updates with security updates. I only bothered to check if this app had been updated recently because as another user stated , I’m only on the newest iOS software with a newer iPhone, (iOS 17) and this evening I had a notification saying that the “system” was “currently unavailable” due to certain parts of the app not being available due to a Medtronic network issue. “ Effectively telling me that it can’t connect to Medtronic.
I’m not particularly impressed with this since my electrophysiology team are getting readings that are unusual … I’m now questioning if the readings are accurate , or if there’s possibly an issue with how things are being transmitted…
This needs to be fixed asap.

iPhone 15/ios17

This app worked fine under my older, iPhone 14 and iOS 16. However it seems to work differently now that I have the new phone with the new iOS. The blue green line that normally moves back-and-forth sometimes shows up often does not show up the update time which used to be always very frequent within the last few minutes now sometimes is 30 or 40 minutes behindand the phone is with me and hasn’t changed location. It’s close to the pacemaker and I work from home and I know the Internet’s been fine. I always see the active there so I it says it’s active but I don’t see the blue and green line and we don’t know we see the updated time when I called in for support. They said that the app doesn’t work with iOS 17 yet. Really??

Horrible App

Does whomever writes this app test it? I’m going to report Medtronic to the FDA and Medicare. This app is not ready for prime time use. It’s especially not ready to be used as a device for tracking possible malignant arrhythmias. I have a Linq2. 1) most of the time when I hit record, it says it could take 9 minutes to do. Seriously? My device is set for 7 minute recordings. So the symptom is missed. Why can the activator do it in 15 seconds but your app takes 9 minutes? 50% of the time at 9 minutes, it says recording error. So again symptom lost. 2) if there is an update for the app, it won’t let you record your symptom until you update. Symptom lost. Is this a medical device or a toy? 3) if you don’t have a cellular or data connection, the app hangs and does not open. Again symptom lost. The app can’t trigger the linq2 without a data connection, but the activator can. Why? Does your developer realize this is a medical device and not a “toy” app? This is a horribly written and executed app. Certainly not something that Medtronic should be using for a medical device.
