Record your driving data for evidence of any incident like an accident or any special moment that you can record during your car journey. This app is working like a PRO and very useful tool to record your daily car journey and also a smart tool to record your adventure journey.
VIDEO SETTINGS:
- Turn Audio recording ON / OFF.
- Multiple Resolution Options available for video recording:
Low, Medium, High, 640x480, 1280x720, 1920x1080
- Video Segment Length options to save videos automatically with the specified duration.
- Frame Rate (FPS) options available to select from 15, 20, 25, 30.
DISPLAY SETTINGS:
- Show/Hide the Time on the video recording.
- Show/Hide the Speed on the video recording during the journey.
- Show/Hide the GPS Coordinates on the video recording to get to know the current location.
- Change the speed units between KM/H and MPH.
STATISTICS:
- Show memory usage by the device, by the Car Camera app and also provide available memory space in the device.
- Provides an option to RESET all recordings and video data instantly.
VIDEO HISTORY:
- List of videos provided with the history of recorded videos along with the length of the video.
- Video Playback within the application easily in one-touch playing.
- Delete previously recorded videos easily.

Car Camera DVR is free to use. You have the choice to subscribe to Premium to access the full feature of the app. You can choose between a Lifetime, Monthly and Yearly auto-renewable subscription. This purchase can only be used on the iOS system. Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at the end of the trial on confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal, in accordance with your plan, within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or turn off auto-renew in your Apple ID account settings any time after purchase.

First Impression
I wasn’t sure what to expect using this app since I never considered using my phone to record my driving. I’ve used the app for several days and I’m pleasantly surprised! I highly recommend the app.
I would like to suggest to the developer to allow the app to use the front camera by pressing a button. I would like to protect myself in the event I’m pulled over by authorities. A simple addition would make this great app - better!

Simple and useful
It is simple and a good ise for an old phone. Doesn’t have to be used for a car. Ie watching the cookie jar use cases. I wish there was a black out option for the gray bar to be a temporary overlay and for the screen to go black. That part is easy to fix with screen brightness ;)

Displays video upside down. Paid version still has ads.
I paid $2.99 to get rid of the ads, but the app still displays ads when I go to the settings menu. I find this to be misleading and dishonest.
Also, the app does not automatically sense the phone’s orientation, and so it displays the interface upside down when I mount the phone on my windshield with the charging port facing left, as I have to do in my car. This is incredibly annoying.
I will unfortunately have to find another app to solve these problems.
