WETA Classical:
The WETA Classical App allows you to listen to WETA, pause and rewind the live audio, and view the program schedule for WETA all at once! You can even wake up to WETA Classical with the alarm clock!

One of the best radio stations
I love WETA. I live in Florida and although we have classical radio stations I just feel more of connection to WETA.
I guess partly because I used to live in D.C. and Maryland.
When I used to drive to work on Rockville Pike WETA would be the first thing I would listen to going and leaving from work.
Classical music is so important in my life.
Thank you WETA.
So-so
It comes up quickly which is good. But the playlist starts at 12:00 AM. I go to WETA, usually in the evening, to learn what is playing now and to learn what is coming the rest of the evening. I don’t want to have to scroll the playlist from early morning through all the day to get to what is coming next. The online website is better. Also the app lists the current musical item and the playlist box in small, small letters. They are almost lost among all the advertised items on the screen. I am less interested in those ads. For all these reasons, I don’t use this app.
Program info ends at midnight!
I got this app for two reasons: to see what is playing now on WETA FM; and to see what is coming up to be played. Unfortunately, the program schedule they provide is not 24 hours, it’s for a calendar day. Regardless of when you check the app, you get program info only for the present time through 12 midnight.
Since I usually tune in at 11:30 pm, that means I have no idea what’s going to be played for most of my listening time. Therefore, the app is of very little use to me.
