I love the simplicity

This app is exactly what I was looking for. It’s basically a diary of what I ate, and that’s it. I’ve lost weight before with various programs as well as just CICO, and I’m an RN, so I’m very comfortable assessing the nutritional value of my meals. I’m past needing to track every calorie and macro, but I do still need the accountability of journaling.
This app is minimalistic in both design and execution, and that’s perfect. I went ahead and purchased the very-reasonably-priced Premium version after just a couple of days. It’s obvious that this is what I wanted, I wanted to support the developer, and I wanted the colorful options.
Even the rating screen is polite. “Do you like it?” <yes> “If you like it, would you leave a star review?”
I hope that a future version may include a space for notes, but it’s certainly not a deal-breaker and I wouldn’t want the app to get cluttered up either.

Exactly what I was looking for

I find that I’m more mindful of what I eat if I’m recording it, but I dont necessarily want to count calories/macros and get obsessed with all those numbers. This app is exactly what I was looking for, and for some reason feels better than just logging all of this in my notes app on my iPhone. I like that it’s compartmentalized into its own app. My only suggestion would be to add notifications to remind you to log (I do that from another app) and I’d actually like the option to see how many days I’ve remembered to log my food (like a “habit streak” - which I’m doing from the app that reminds me to log my food.) But even without those, this is a great, simple app and has definitely been keeping me more accountable.

Simple and Free

Thank you so much for creating this minimalist food and exercise tracker. The fact that it’s completely free with banner ads that are easy to ignore, and don’t spam you every time you click something, is very generous. And the price to remove ads and customize the color layout is honestly very affordable (might consider purchasing in the future).

But, depending on a persons needs this may be too simple and basic. This app doesn’t have any functions for you to input calories and all that other stuff (weight, etc), nor does it have any of that fancy statistics that tracks progress. Despite this, I don’t think this app is entended to function like MyFitnessPal. Anyway, lucky for me, this is exactly what I’m looking for.
