1. How do I log in to this app?

To log in to this app you need to first create your own employee extension and then use your employee extension’s login credentials to sign in to this app. This app is designed to sync with your personal employee extension. So for that reason, the admin-level username and password you created at signup will not work as your app login.

2. How do I ensure high call quality using this app?

For the best experience, we recommend using a strong wifi connection. This mobile app uses your local wifi to make and receive calls. If wifi isn’t available this app will run off your cellular data. But like all VoIP technologies, if you have a weak wifi connection or a poor data signal, it can affect your call quality.

3. Is the UniTel Voice app free?

This app is free to UniTel Voice customers and is included with all of our business phone system plans.

4. Do I have to use the UniTel Voice mobile app?

No. UniTel Voice can forward calls to any phone number, or phone (even landlines and old school cell phones). We also offer the UniTel Voice Office plan that allows you to connect a softphone or IP-phone (physical desk phone).

5. How does the is app help?

This app allows you to run your business from anywhere. It provides you with full access to your business phone system and it virtually turns your personal smartphone into your office phone with all the professional features you would expect from a physical desk phone.

6. Can everyone on my team use this app?

This company is great!

This company goes above and beyond to help their customers make sure that everything is to their satisfaction.

Whether you call them or choose to chat with them they won’t let you down, they won’t make you wait, and you don’t end up talking to a call center on the other side of the planet. 👍

As for their services I couldn’t be any happier. Everything sounds good (at least in mines and my customers phones) and the system is working above expectations.
The options are plenty and unique, which is great.
Overall I couldn’t be happier with my decision to go with UniTel Voice and I recommend them to anyone looking for a great VoIP system!

If something doesn’t appear to work as it should I would suggest that people contact their customer support before they leave negative reviews, because the negative reviews on here didn’t give an accurate picture of this company.

Close but not there yet

Great concept of not having to carry two phones such as a personal and business phone. However, the drawbacks greatly overshadow any slight positive attributes from this application and it’s company. I can’t even port out this number that I made and plastered on business logos for uniforms, business cards, and any signage for business vehicles. Attempted to port out this number from UniTel from November till April, with an utter failure. Now I’m stuck attempting to talk to customers on an application that lags more then when talking abroad in a military base. Be prepared to talk over another due to those lagging problems. The customer service is egh, not impressed. No one would follow through with anything they’ve ever said or anything they would commit to solve my porting out issue. The “virtual office” on the app will sometimes show you the phone number of the missed call, but 9/10 times you need to go into safari to open the UniTel webpage to log in and actually see who called you. Extremely unproductive, when you’re out in the field working and need to quickly see who you have a missed call from. Now I can’t even log in online, only on the app even though I’m typing the exact same credentials. Finishing my business season and cancelling this sub-par service in the winter, you get what you pay for. Time to get a new phone number and trace back to every customer and update my phone number. What a waste of time UniTel Voice has been.

Customer service helpful

I like being able to use the app on my cell phone for business calls. Initially I had trouble logging in and almost canceled, but customer support was great and walked me through everything. If you have a problem call them!
