FinPay는 IC/MS카드, 은련카드, 현금영수증 승인용 앱입니다.
2015년 7월 발효된 여신전문금융업법에 따라, 모든 결제 장비는 보안인증을 받아야 됩니다.
스마트폰을 활용하여 결제하는 서비스 역시 여신전문금융업법에 따라, App.과 결제 장비(모바일 리더기)도 보안인증을 받아야 합니다.
FinPay App.은 가맹점에서 보안인증을 받아야 되는 불편사항을 해소하기 위해 제공하는 App.으로 기존에 가맹점에서 자체적으로 사용하는 App.이 있을 경우, 사용 중인 App.을 간단한 수정만으로 FinPay 와 연동하여 별도의 보안인증을 받을 필요가 없습니다.
