MyCap Classic captures data for many research projects.
If you are participating in a research project that uses MyCap classic:
1) Download and open MyCap classic
2) Click the "Join Project" button
3) Scan the QR code you were given

MyCap classic integrates with the Apple Health app. Some MyCap projects may request access to your Health data while other projects may not. You will be given a description of Health data usage and the opportunity to allow or deny access to your Health data if the project has enabled this data collection feature. Simple and works well
This app works well. However, joining a new project from my phone is a pain The app forces one to scan a QR code from an internet site, but won’t allow one to use a screenshot of that QR code. Therefore, I can’t join a project until I locate a computer or waste a piece of paper.

Great tool for collecting data directly from study participants and for staying connected.
QR reader issue
Everytime I try to acan the barcode, it always states it cant be found.

Very sorry you are experiencing an issue. That sounds like a server configuration issue. I'd recommend contacting the person that gave you the barcode and let them know you cannot join the project. Send them the exact message that the app shows.
