Net Nanny Child App 4+

Okay, so on an evening in September 2020, I came to my dinner table, and saw veggies in my plate. I complained and my iPad is now taken. My parents told me to give it, and I said yes and trying to get out of safari. My parents kept reminding me until I will obey. I don’t get this back until a Wednesday. Well, not this Wednesday or the following. Later, my parents actually had a conversation about my device. They agreed to use this parental control app, which the majority of you know what is called, Net Nanny. I kind of like it when it’s a few days later, but nowadays, it started to set a time limit for 1 hour, like c’mon dude! You have got to be kidding me! And why did my parents downloaded this app? It’s killing my battery and the internet doesn’t work at all. Like, I want the VPN off, I mean, the Wi-fi is still connected, but Net Nanny is turning things down. It’s just, not a good idea. But, I get that this a successful parental control app for kids to be safe from inappropriate websites, and I appreciate y’all’s reviews. I’m trying not to complain, but don’t get this app. I’m totally fine if your parents buy this, but if you want your child to stay safe, use a different app, like something else besides Net Nanny. That will be better, hopefully. So, I give this app a 1 star rating, hopefully 0 stars, but just rate 1 star if you don’t like Net Nanny, but please people, I don’t like this app. I really want to delete this.

i don’t like this app. not because it blocks things, but because it constantly messes with my phone and internet. there was a era of time when this app messed with my phone so much i couldn’t google AT ALL! i would try to search up literally anything but it would be blocked even if it wasn’t inappropriate. i could quite frankly search “hi” and it would be blocked. this lasted 6 months. there was another incident in which my internet was completely down. i couldn’t do anything at all. call, text, google, play games, anything. i had that for 2 weeks until my uncle came and fixed it. this was very inconvenient because i had school work i have to do and i couldn’t do any of it for a whole two weeks because my google classroom refused to load. this app constantly glitches, every 3 months or so theres some type of internet problem with this app and then my uncle has to come and reset the entire app. i’m still having minor problems with this app such as things not loading, my google classroom still won’t load, my music app doesn’t work, and occasionally my tiktok shuts down but besides these small concerns the app is fine. a lot of the low reviews are pretty exaggerated hence they are from kids who are upset because they can’t watch bad videos anymore but if you fix the internet problems and the glitches i think the app would be perfect, but as of right now, eh.

I can’t text my friends, and they can’t text me at this point, literally takes AN EMTIRE WHOLE DAY for me to send or receive texts, I can’t even SEE images, either. and like other reviews it blocks random content. Bec of the app I have to use discord to message my friends and when I tried looking up a meme to send to them it blocked it. My parents, also, can’t see the specific image that was blocked. Also, it’s said that this app funds “passively in the background”, I have to open the app, it’s a constant reminder I’m being watched, every thing I do is being watched. It’s very bad, also, to everybody reading this, just want to say, If this app gets 1 star the App Store has to remove it, so, if u have had a bad experience like I did rate it 1 star so this app can get removed. It’s not worth the money tbh, and u don’t have the full effect of the nord VPN, u can’t switch country location thing so u can get Japanese anime. Bottom line, it’s a waste of money If u value your child’s fun over their security.

(Edit) u can also escape the timer that blocks the internet and junk if u close out of the app and play non online games, also works for stopping the timer from going down (obviously doesn't work for the time of day junk but u can fix that by changing ur time zone)
