Description

iVueit App – the app that pays for the photos you take.

Want to make money taking photos with your smartphone? You’re hired! No resume or pre-requisites needed. iVueit rewards you for gathering photos and completing surveys at local properties in your area. Anyone with an eye for taking pictures and a smartphone can do this. It’s really that simple.

When you sign up to be a Vuer, you help the world’s largest brands have on-demand insight on their properties nationwide. All while earning extra cash for snapping photos of the places you may know and visit anyways. That’s what we like to call a win / win.

Here’s why you do what you do.

Everyday tens of thousands of photos are taken of things like signage, landscape, painting, snow removal… you get the point. However, the lack of resources, and surplus of inaccuracy, has doomed the way of getting the job done. Enter iVueit. Our network of Vuers provide a real time solution to the never-ending demand of property photos and documentation.

Imagine this...

You walk outside of your local coffee shop and you receive a notification from iVueit that we need photos of the lawn and mulch around the store. Within minutes you've accepted the project and taken a few photos. Answer 5 easy questions on how the property looks and you are done. You've just paid for that latte and then some.

Sound too good to be true? Well here's how it works:

1) Download the iVueit app…at this point you have come too far not to

2) Check the map for open Vues in your area

3) Claim a Vue before someone else does and submit the requested photos and survey

4) The client receives and reviews your photos

5) Cha-Ching! Earn $5-$100 per Vue you successfully complete

QUICK TIP: For the best experience, keep your location and notification settings turned ON. This way, you will be alerted immediately when a new Vue drops in your area.

Worth it for the extra cash!

I like this app a lot. I’ve been able to make some side income which has been helpful. It’s convenient if you’re already out, you can check the map and see if you’re near any. Personally, I like to take the day to go and complete some. Unfortunately, you’re only allowed to claim three locations at a time. But after you’ve been consistent with it the app promotes your “vuer status” and then it lets you claim up to six locations. I’ve done over 30 submissions and only had an issue with one not being recorded from a glitch in the app. I put in a request with IVueit assistance but it appears they’re still working on fixing some bugs considering I haven’t heard back. They should consider offering a higher payout amount for some locations. I think it would really increase production and reduce completion time. Making new sets of Vues available 2-3 times per week rather than once would improve the app experience, too. This is the main reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Overall, this app is one of the best out there if you have transportation and you’re willing to take the time to do the locations!

Take the good with the bad

I’ve been vueing for about 3-4 years at this point and I can say that ivueit consistently makes updates and improvements. However, I have to question whether anyone designing the apps is actually testing them in the field. The sliding counter is ridiculous- there’s no ability to fine-tune the slider, so you have to spend way more time getting the right number than you should have to. It was easier to just enter numbers when doing measurements or counts. Not being able to preview a claimed vue during dormant hours makes it hard to plan ahead and be ready to start when I get there. If there’s a one hour window on a vue that’s estimated to take 30 minutes, it would be nice to be able to plan ahead and read the vue beforehand. It’s also clear that the business is growing, but from a Vuer perspective, that’s not been a good thing. It takes much longer for help to respond to chats (that’s a real problem when you have a time limit) and it’s been taking much longer for Vues to be reviewed. Recently, it’s been taking a day or two; I waited 4 days for one in August. There’s no grace on failing a Vue outside the timeline, and yet they are not making their promised deadlines on reviewing. Recognize that you have people in rural areas where wifi signals are sketchy and offer a 10-15 minute grace period on vues that are in progress.

We are sorry to hear this has been your experience. Please reach out to vuercommunity@ivueit.com so we can better understand the situation.

App is faulty and terrible customer service

This app is in desperate need of an autosave feature. Today I claimed 3 vues, my 2nd one was a Walmart where I had to mostly take pics of the parking lot and landscaping. After spending 25 minutes in the sun taking at least 30 pictures the app force closes on me before I was able to finish and when it starts back up tells me I have to start all over. I refused to do so especially since it could have happened again and i didn’t want to waste anymore time so I unclaimed the vue and the other I had after. After voicing my concern to customer service, all they texted back was “sorry for the inconvenience.” I called the customer service number and it’s just a recorded message with no actual person to talk to.
The other day I claimed my first 2 vues that were close to each other and after realizing at the end of the 2nd vue that the app drained my battery pretty quick and while I was taking the last pic my phone died, this was considered a failed vue and hurt my rating as if I did nothing when they should have all the pics you’re taking autosave so you don’t just lose all your progress in such an event but again customer service did not care. It’s a hassle enough trying to find a Vue to claim because majority of them are pre-claimed by preferred vuers and the ones that aren’t are usually too far or not worth it. It’s even worse when you finally get a chance to do one and your time ends up being wasted.
