Helpful app but could use a few upgrades

Very quick and easy to reference each chord and type of chord. Two improvements would be 1) the ability to store chosen chords as a quick window tab or something so you don’t have to go back and deselect the chord and its character each time. You’d just hit it’s window tab to view it again. 2) the ability to select a Key which would restrict all options to the chords and chord variations that exist within the selected key. This would assist in narrowing down options for a chord progression without referencing things outside the app.

Intuitive and helpful

Very straight forward & intuitive. Sure, it could have a few extra simple features, but that’s not what this app is about.

There’s a million other chord apps with all sorts of extra options and stuff – but those apps all cost money, (usually a subscription based payment system which is the worst!), and the free ones are invariably littered with obnoxious ads that pop up every 10 seconds.

With this app you will not see any advertisements, you will not be asked for any money, and it does everything the App Store says it does. Nothing more. Nothing less. It LITERALLY could not be any more straight forward than that.

If there’s a person who owns this app but doesn’t understand how it works, I would want to know how that person managed to download the app in the first place, or how they were able to unlock their own iPhone/iPad, (and then I’d wonder if that person even knows what a guitar chord is, because…well, you get the idea.)

Simple and effective!

This app is well designed, clean, intuitive and just all-around really good! There are a few chords I couldn’t find, but as it says in both the description and the in-app info, the dev keeps adding more, so that’s not really a problem. All in all, if you need to find chords fast, this is the app I’d recommend. Other chord finder apps I’ve used have a lot of unnecessary features and are complicated and annoying to use, but this one just has chords; it’s as simple as it gets, and the interface is lightning-fast and distraction-free. And did I mention no ads? It’s great. If you’re on the fence, get it.
