I was excited to use this Emr because they are based within the United State. They have great features and so far it’s been a fair experience except few things that need update:
1 : It’s a lot of set up as you have to manually input all your forms, they don’t have templates which is a pain
2: when a patient makes appointments the forms that are attached is on a seperate email with the only choice of setting up a portal, most patients don’t open the second email once they confirm their appointment so most times no forms or consents are done prior to visits
3: all charting and records are on the app, and the most important communication tool about texting is only on the web, so unless you log in on the portal you cannot get a response from texting. It would help if inbox is linked to the app.
4: For packages, it should be easy enough to take payment, the process is cumbersome and it requires a portal account, this limit finalizing sales at checkout. Please review this.
5: Their is no way of the system labeling a patient new or current so easy duplicate occurred, although you could merge accounts when they occurs.
There is great potential and it would be great if the system could separate subscription pay for providers seperate from frontdesk, Front desk have limited roles and should pay less compared to providers. It will encourage multiple subscription per practice.
Just whatever, borderline annoying
I wanted to like this app but it gives more problems than anything. A new “update” weekly which gets very annoying when you’re with clients and have to stop in the middle of what you’re doing and wait for it to log you out, update , re-log In and go back to whatever clients chart you were trying to work on. The most frustrating thing is it feels like nothing is corrected with these updates… it’s still the same glitches that happen all the time. With at least once a week app updates, you’d think these few glitches that constantly occur would have been corrected at some point, but they keep occurring. For example you will take a clients photo and then it disappears and then a pop-up from the app comes up saying a bunch of jumbled letters that don’t make sense, then when you X Out , it won’t let you do anything till again— you have to log back out completely and log back in knowing none of the photos you were just taking or the notes you were writing on a patient have been saved.
This app has some good things as far as being organized but that’s almost expected because it is digital, but there’s still a long way to go in fixing making it more user reliable… there’s other issues on the app too but this was the most annoying that constantly seems to occur.
Use a different EMR-this is NOT a 4.3 out of 5 stars
This EMR has so many glitches. Frequent updates that are disruptive and result in lost client data-client notes, dot phrases etc. There really doesn’t seem to be any real changes with the “updates”. The inability to chart from the web version and only the app is a real issue. The support is only via chat-they often state “let me check into that” and they never get back to you. OR you wait for so long-check back several minutes later and they close the chat. Super frustrating. I have never received any follow back about something they were looking into. I stopped trying to take photos in the app and instead use my phone and load them into the app. Takes a lot more time but at least they don’t get lost. The inability to use a different pay source is also problematic. The app is not intuitive. Takes multiple steps to do things that could and should be an easy click. The list is long of the issues that this app has. I honestly wish I had never chosen this EMR. I now have a large client base and trying to move to a new platform is daunting after the hours and hours I spent building out this one. I have EMR PTSD from this program. I will say its one plus is the cost. However, that being said-spend the money-get a program that actually works for you and has responsive support.
