iotty Smart Home 4+

After iOS 14 and the latest (week ago) update, have not been able to connect to the switch. Not going to go all frantic and declare it the worse thing ever (switches have worked fine themselves), just would like to set up some automation and/or make sure lights are turned off steadily. Used to work fine. Do consider fixing.

This App and the switches are terrible. I bought a few different switches (2 of the U3 and 2 of the U1). I’ve installed half of them and won’t be continuing. The App is slow to respond, after “registering” the first switch which never officially finished registering in App after 5 plus minutes. I force closed the app and then opened it again. My first switch finally registered (U3) I was trying to figure out how to dim my lights, apparently this isn’t an option. That is dumb! When I went to add the second switch (U1) it took 3 attempts and I had to use the physical reset button on the switch to get it to show up. After finally getting the U1 to register, I had to use the App and to reset the switch 2 times to be able to control its backlighting. Every action in the app takes a long time and you never are sure it will register. Oddly the backlighting feature is dimmable. Overall VERY disappointed in everything about this company.

I was super excited when I bought the iotty u1 and u3 and couldn’t wait to use them. When it told me to install the app I saw all the negative reviews and was a bit upset that maybe these wouldn’t be any good.

But idk if those were older reviews and Iotty updating things - but I have had great ease setting up and using the Smart Switches! I love everything about these and can’t wait to get more! I also can’t wait to get a dimmer version. 10/10
