HeadApp 4+

HeadApp/NEUROvitalis address the following cognitive domains: memory, working memory, attention, reaction and impulse control, planning and problem solving, spatial cognition, language and everyday functions.The app is a class I medical device developed by therapists and psychologists. The effectiveness of brain performance training (cognitive therapy) has been proven in many scientific studies.

HeadApp/NEUROvitalis is used by therapists in medical rehab centers, hospitals, geriatric facilities, nursing homes and doctor’s offices, and even by affected persons at home. It can used in the early phase of acute damage and diseases of the brain – and in the case of dementia developments even in the advanced phase of treatment.

The advantages of HeadApp/NEUROvitalis are:
- The training consists of difficulty levels ranging from "easy" for patients to "challenge" for the most difficult training.
- The difficulty levels of all tasks are automatically adjusted to the patient’s ability.
- Therapy material consisting of over 30,000 photos of and hundreds of tasks make the training varied and interesting.
- Therapists can supervise the therapy of impaired persons online.
- A free screening test assesses users' mental performance and suggests appropriate therapy.

The app consists of two sections: HeadApp and NEUROvitalis.

HeadApp was developed for use by patients with severe cognitive impairments. It can therefore be used in the early phase of acute damage and diseases of the brain – and in the case of dementia developments even in the advanced phase of treatment.

NEUROvitalis is aimed at healthy elderly people who want to preventively counteract the decline in cognitive age, as well as neurological, psychiatric and geriatric patients with mild to moderate cognitive impairments.

The app includes a Home version (for training at home) and a Professional version (for use by therapists). On first launch, you determine which version you want to use.
The Home version app includes a free screening that allows users to test their mental performance. If deficits are found, appropriate training is suggested. In this case, a high-quality, comprehensive, professional brain training can be purchased via in-app purchase via a 3-month license.

The professional version was developed for therapists in clinics and doctor’s offices. Multiple patients can be managed during therapy via a patient management system. Settings, therapy plans, therapy progress and results are stored per patient. After a trial period, an annual license can be purchased as an in-app purchase.
