The Varsity Aces are the ones producing that great coverage, supplying breaking news, schedules, scores, rankings, photos, videos and more.
With the Varsity Aces app, all of that great North Jersey high school sports coverage can be found in one place. The app includes a live football scoreboard, as well as all the latest high school sports content from The Record and NorthJersey.com.
• This app is free to download and all users can access a sampling of free articles every month.
• Subscriptions are charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase and automatically renew each month or year, unless turned off in your iTunes account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your iTunes account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage your subscriptions and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your iTunes Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable. Crashing!
As of a week ago there is a serious bug that causes it to crash on my iPhone Xs!
I can never find what I’m looking for.
All I use is the search button. It’s now 2 days past the Bergen County Relays for winter track and I have yet to see any coverage of the meet. So not only do I wonder about the content, I think I must just be missing it? Who knows. All it wants to give me is football scores and box scores that are not updated. As well the medal tracking and performance lists are not updated.
From first to worst
The Record used to provide great coverage of the local high school scene in Northern New Jersey, winning awards for the quality of their work. Now they cover only what they deem as important (usually non-public), providing cursory info (at best) for the rest.
When they do condescend to provide additional coverage, it’s at least a day late.
What a shame that the legacy of your predecessors has been minimalized.
