Description
Find the BPM and Chords live for any song you're listening to, using your device's mic.
Let your device listen to the music around you to analyze the BPM, the key chord (Major or minor), the peak and the loudness value in dB.
You can also import any song from your music library, iCloud Drive or Dropbox to quickly analyze it.
Finally you can simply tap on the screen to measure the beat BPM.
DJ's can use the app to analyze the songs and create great playlists, and musicians can find the chords and the tempo to play along any track. They can also analyze in real time their playing to check the timing on the beat.
To get better live results let the device listen to a song longer (the longer the best).

Doesn’t work
It recognizes the BPM when you tap the screen, but I was hoping that it would calculate the BPM for imported songs from Apple Music. After I select a song it shows a ripple effect as if it is working, but no BPM ever shows up. I’m guessing this used to work when the app was first created, but was broken when APIs changed. Oh well.
What the heck!
I just downloaded this app hoping it could listen to a song and determine the BPM.
Not even close! It’s constantly all over the place during playback of a song even with a solid constant tempo of a slow song that I know the tempo, Beatles-Something with a BPM of 66 just to test this app. The app came up with 132. I’m a dummy for paying extra for the full app. Honestly that’s like stealing my hard earned money. I’d really prefer a refund. That’s just not right! Come on guys what’s up with that? Unless someone can explain to me Im missing something?
Terrible
I know it’s only $2 but this app is useless. When you tap in it the music playing stops and I think it’s working but there’s no way to know. When you import songs they don’t play out loud so you don’t know if it’s really playing the song you chose or not. Dumb.
