Description

Albert Einstein is often quoted as having said that "I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones."

World War I or the First World War, often abbreviated as WWI or WW1, began on 28 July 1914 and ended on 11 November 1918. Referred to by contemporaries as the "Great War", its belligerents included much of Europe, the Russian Empire, the United States, and the Ottoman Empire, with fighting also expanding into the Middle East, Africa, and parts of Asia. One of the deadliest conflicts in history, an estimated 9 million people were killed in combat, while over 5 million civilians died from military occupation, bombardment, hunger, and disease.

Peace and conflict studies is an academic field which identifies and analyses violent and nonviolent behaviours, as well as the structural mechanisms attending violent and non-violent social conflicts. This is to better understand the processes leading to a more desirable human condition. One variation, Peace studies (irenology), is an interdisciplinary effort aiming at the prevention, de-escalation, and solution of conflicts. This contrasts with war studies (polemology), directed at the efficient attainment of victory in conflicts. Disciplines involved may include political science, geography, economics, psychology, sociology, international relations, history, anthropology, religious studies, and gender studies, as well as a variety of other disciplines.

Pacifism may be based on moral principles (a deontological view) or pragmatism (a consequentialist view). Principled pacifism holds that all forms of violent behavior are inappropriate responses to conflict, and are morally wrong. Pragmatic pacifism holds that the costs of war and inter-personal violence are so substantial that better ways of resolving disputes must be found.

Good game but...

I’ve played this game and beaten it multiple times and I always enjoy the challenge with it. Though as a returning player I feel that there’s a lack of World Events that happen. I think it’d be cool to see an event about how the Entente alliance make a trade agreement with the US or the Central Powers agree to assist Japan in its quest of expansion. Though that’s a few examples but maybe more randomized events that occur during the match the player is in. Months ago I begged that you add more cities and you’ve added roughly 200 cities I’d say and that’s made gameplay better, but I think to make the game feel less like a human vs computer feel to a more human vs human feeling. I think having more events would help this feeling tremendously and also maybe adding in some more “armaments” to have more upgrades possible and maybe give us an ability to form a unit of let’s say 100 sea craft and 500 aircraft to be a joint unit and we can set them to patrol along two points we set them to and act as sort of a line of defense for our nations borders and they’d be the first attacked instead of our cities maybe, or maybe an option to build coastal defenses That’ll attack the enemy once there within its range. I love this game and I want it grow into a great, realistic, and challenging game one day, it’s great right now but far form perfection and I hope my review will help you get a few steps closer to that goal!

Love it!!! But...

This is an amazing game but it definitely has room for improvement. Like other people said... a lot of countries are way too overpowered. I think there should be at least a little bit of a balance. And also i think it should be easier to make money. I always feel like I can never afford to upgrade my military because the upgrades cost millions of dollars. It usually takes me like an hour of playing just to reach 1 million dollars... and that’s when I’m trying hard to get trade going and not as much military production. I think there should be ways that you can sell your military boats, submarines, and tanks to other countries in exchange for more money than you paid to make them. I think it should be higher money received from the countries with the lowest technology. I also think it would be kinda cool if you could sell cities for money... for an example, if I raided a city in Spain i could sell the cities ownership to my allies for money. Just to add on some creativity I think there should be a infinite money mode. I mostly say this because when I first started I had like no idea what to do. I know there’s tutorials... but I feel like it would just be easier to learn the games basics by playing with infinite money and having fun.

A lovely game!

I adore this game a lot, I’ve played this game for around a year now and I always appreciate your work into this game. I feel like you should add more features and game modes too in the game, and perhaps a difficulty setting too? Or maybe, if you’re up for the challenge, make choices that isn’t quite historical in the game but gives more reason to play and love this game! I think that some of the updates on the event mode makes the mode less fun, I get it’s supposed to be historical but you are sometimes forced to lose land depending on what country you are, and you can’t prevent it so it makes it really hard to gain land and actually have a reason to keep going. But that doesn’t stop me from liking the game, it’s like the under dog of mobile gaming. You can’t find another mobile game like this. Trust me I went searching and I couldn’t find a war simulation like this one. I hope the publisher(s) have not finished their jobs on this game and not for a very long time, I am considered because at the time right now it’s been 4 months since the last update and I’m going to be honest, I’m quite worried but it’s for sure that I won’t stop playing this game for awhile. I really recommend this game for anyone is into history and especially people who like history and gaming as well too.
