The BRECOflex SM5 tension meter app is designed to be the perfect companion for your sm5 tension meter. It will run all the calculations to determine the pretension measured in your BRECOflex belt by the SM5 or it will also determine the target frequency required to achieve a specific pretension in your belt. You simply need to enter the required parameters and select your desired units. The app does all the conversions and math for you!

I checked the app just now and can confirm the calculated values match the formula in the catalog.
Calculates incorrectly for T5 10mm wide timing belt
Looks like the calculator doesn’t follow the method in the specification sheet and gives out different results than from what you should get based on formula.
T5 belt, 10mm wide, 135mm free span length.
