50$ for late payment

I’ve had ELDS system for five months and it frequently disconnects as well as does your garden variety of odd crap which just make me all the more grateful to big brother for afflicting me with the ELD scourge. Customer support is semi effective and mostly just doesn’t care. Frequently you have to leave a voicemail in their mailbox and pray that you get a call back which is infrequent at best.
My biggest complaint however is the 50$ “service fee” for late payments. Three months ago my bank put a stop to my debit card due to fraudulent activity and issued a new one. The payment to ELDS was declined on the old card and before I could update debit card information ( takes about 7 buss days to get new one) I incurred a $50 fee for late payment. I think thats just abusive . Were already looking for a new provider.

Not worth it your time and money

I was a customer for long time this company. They were nice the first two years. The last year theyre become bad at customer service bad eld service and worst for database collection. I was like every company is struggling give them one more year. To be honest they were $20 a month. No body can beat that. This year they become the worst Eld company out there. Their New update is trash. No customer service what soo ever. After calling two weeks I finally get someone on The phone Who insults me and hung up phone. Then I got an email saying that my service is disconnected and I have to pay a fee for that or they will send me a collection. Afte all three and half years end at disappointed. I will not recommend for any body.

Extremely Frustrating - customer service is only 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday

These devices always freeze, change duty statuses by themselves, or don’t change when you want them to change, don’t pick up location and lose connection all the time. Whenever any errors occur and you need help from technical support, you can’t get any help because they only work M - F 8am to 5pm. If any of these errors happen on weekends or later than 5pm, you have to drive with violations or stop and accept the loss. After hours support is a MUST when there are so many glitches. I regret my company chose ELDS, when there are so many other reliable ELD providers on the market.
Don’t get stuck in a contract with them, like our company did!
