Excellently Rendered, Short but Sweet!

Edited after first review. I went into the Extras section to locate the Bonus game. That is why I ended up playing the Match 3 game forever. You need to go back to the main menu screen to select the Bonus game!

Collectible dancing couples, morphing objects within the HOPs, beautiful graphics. At the conclusion of the Bonus game, you can backtrack to locate missed collectibles and replay the HOPs. There is also a treasure hunt game.

Finally, no elves, fairies with annoying voices, etc. Nothing innovated, but I really enjoyed playing this game!

Eternal? Very Brief Dance

So much about this game is lovely, and initially I began a rave review, but then the game ended--very quickly. The music is marvelous, the graphics spectacular, the puzzles engaging without being repetitive. So much of this game was original, and I WANTED this game to continue, to fulfill its promise, but it fell far short. If you are seeking a bang for your buck, this is not a deal.

I stopped writing reviews for a couple of weeks (please keep giving as much as you can to Florence survivors--my county was lucky but the devastation continues).

I was weary of the repetitive "dated," "give us more," "loyal fans" chorus that BF seems to be ignoring. This game has everything except the all-important hours of play. I have had a bag of chips last longer. Please BF and developers, I remember games that could take me days to complete, and these days, many of us need distractions and are willing to pay for them. This "eternal" dance is simply cash slipping from my fingers. You gave us some great games for a few weeks, and lovely as this one is, it is too short, especially since you have cut us to one game a week. I won't repeat what most folks have been saying for weeks.

Goodbye, Big Fish?

My rating is for Big Fish, not this game. It has been 13 years since BF released Huntsville, the first HOG. It was a pioneering game, leading the way to the HOGs of today. Now that BF is no longer supporting these games for the iPad, I don’t know if I want to support BF. Is it only a matter of time before all of their games, even for the PC, are pay-to-play? I know that sometimes HOGs get monotonous with tired storylines and worn out puzzles. But how much fun is it to pay real money to bet with fake money in a “casino?” To get amazing jackpots worth trillions of dollars in play money? Or to pay for those power-ups that are necessary to beat otherwise impossible levels in many of the other BF games? The new powers that be at BF may think that they are moving forward, but their greed is leaving many of us behind. I will not pay for their shortsightedness. And bedtime, which I used to look forward to as a time to escape and de-stress, is now just time to go to sleep. Goodnight, Big Fish.
