Description
We all need encouragement and strength to not be overcome by the pressures and stresses of life. Fortunately, God has given us promises from His word to live by. We can either live by our problems or we can live the promises of God.
As a pastor, Mark Stewart would send out by email one promise from the Bible each week for his congregation to live by. This went world-wide and is now an app for others to enjoy.
The Encouraging Word is based on Numbers 11:23. It is easy to be discouraged and doubt that God’s promises are true but we have what God said to Moses when he doubted: The Lord said to Moses, “Is the Lord’s power limited? Now you shall see whether My word will come true for you or not.”
Within a few days of spending time in this devotions, you should see your spirit lifted and experience new joy, encouragement, and strength to enjoy the life God has given to you!

This is a phenomenal app. The scriptures ensure at least minimal reading of the Bible and hopefully encourages reading and learning more of the Word. Then, there’s the dialogue that brings it all together and puts the Word into perspective to allow you to try to put it into practice. I am grateful that you’ve created this app and that you’re willing to bring people to Jesus and spread the Word with such a down to earth approach. Oh, what a blessing! I share the messages you provide with so many people who in turn share with others on a daily basis. We’re all blessed and this app definitely contributes to that. May the glory go to Jesus. New to the walk with Christ, I was looking for something that could keep me inspired. I bruised through the App Store over and over for Bible apps things of that nature. I found encouraging word. A wonderfully made and inspirational piece of work pastor Mark. I just want to say thank you very much For all your hard work you are reaching people and we are blessed to have you thank you so much for gods work in your life be well and be blessed🙏
Just what I needed
I found this app, as I was looking for some type of encouragement for myself. I have been going through some tough times, however since finding this app, when reading each day, feels like Pastor Mark with God’s help is speaking to me directly. I have shared this app with others and get great responses and thanking me.
