Description
MyTerminal provides you with information about bus departures and terminal services at the Port Authority Bus Terminal.
With the MyTerminal app, users will be able to:
• Get scheduled departure time and gate location for all buses departing from the terminal. Users can search for departures by destination city.
• View directories showing the location of services available at the terminal, including ticketing, shops and restaurants, restrooms, ATMs, and charging stations.
• Check real-time alerts about incidents impacting bus service at the terminal.

Worked for a few weeks, now it doesn’t at all.
I download the app to help me with, my commute. And, at first was working perfectly for two months. Then, it suddenly stopped working. Every time I click to search it kicks me out of the app. This is a inconvenience for me when, I’m trying to plan my commute home.
Could be improved drastically
I downloaded the app and it looks ok. Could be better and more user friendly. Basically you have to know where the bus route goes. Unfortunately there is no way to save your favorite bus and make that the bus you get alerts from. A step further would be to allow you to get an alert for the bus you intend to take letting you know, from current location....”if you leave now, you can catch the 4:00pm bus at gate 300”. Also, the maps are really small and basic. Should have a more updated feel. So if you are going to a park and ride or main location that is a major stop you will find it. If not, you cannot search.
It has potential and I like the fact that the gate and time are on there.
Needs more enhanced features
It is useful when trying to locate the terminal where a bus is located and the time it will be at that gate. But it would be very useful that once I select the certain bus at a certain time it should then give me the option to see the stops on it's route for that trip. Also I would like to have a "favorite" feature where I can select a certain bus and save it to my favorites. This way I can receive alerts pertaining to my bus and see it as soon as I open the app instead of searching for it. Thank you.
