About Spades:
Spades is 4 person Card Game. It can be played as either a partnership or solo/"cutthroat" game. The object is to take at least the number of tricks (also known as "books") that were bid before play of the hand began.
Spades is a descendant of the Whist family of card games, which also includes Bridge, Hearts, and Oh Hell. Its major difference as compared to other Whist variants is that, instead of trump being decided by the highest bidder or at random, the Spade suit is always trumps, hence the name.

Good Offline Game
I’ve only played offline by myself. I really enjoy it. I get really tired of playing various solitaire card games, and this has been a really good alternative.
The app could stand to be developed a bit more, though. There are buttons at the top that don’t do anything (The 1st seems to be to leave the game. The 2nd seems to be for font type. The 3rd seems to be to take notes.). Once I’m in the game, I can’t find a way to leave it and start over, or do anything but continue playing or close the app. I really wish there were rules available to refer to and more options (change background, change the look of the cards, change the other players’ names, etc.).
Over all, it’s still a good app, and fun. I recommend it.

This is the best spades game that I have played. It has a variety of game options and I can play offline, which is what I prefer.
