Description
Doggzam will allow the app holder to take a picture of any breed of terriers, hound dogs and retrievers new breeds will be added soon. After taking the picture this application will tell you which breed and name of the type of dog in the picture. (right now the app searches dog breeds such as Terriers, hounds, Retrievers. working on adding more dog breeds to the app soon).

Really bad and possibly harmful
I love this idea but the app clearly has a long way to go. It misidentified my tiny chihuahua as a German Shepherd. It misidentified my Border Collie as a Springer Spaniel and it said “sorry...” for my full blooded Australian Shepherd, which has won awards for breed standard. We tried several mixed breeds as well and nothing close. We tried different poses, different lighting, etc.
This actually does a disservice to people who don’t know their breeds well. If, for example, they are looking at a shelter dog or rescue dog and this app misidentified the dog, it could lead someone adopting a dog they can’t handle. At the very least, it could lead to embarrassment when they tell others what breed they think it is.
Go back to the drawing board because it’s a great idea!
Greatest app
This app is great. It works like it supposed too and I understand it’s not a puppy dna test is guess based on probability.
Review
Wouldn’t accept any of my pictures except my sister’s old English sheepdog as a Shih Tzu. Wish I wouldn’t have downloaded this app at this stage. Great in theory now it just needs substance. Disappointing they put it out too soon.
