Heartwarming Story, the ads aren't bad
A lot of people have complained about the ads in this game. Though, this isn't a game meant to take up too much of your time per session anyway.
You see, in this game, you help a grandmother run a candy shop. The game just involved restocking the shop and occasionally reading the catalogue.
Besides, the story is definitely worth the ads. It's told through heartwarming and beautifully-written letters. Not the mention that everything in the game's design just feels homely.
Oh. My. God.
I fell in love with the game a few years back. The story is so sweet. This game made me cry because i loved it so much. I never lived in Japan or been through the Showa era, but this game makes you feel like you did. It's very cute and entertaining. I don't know how to access 1 and 2 though. But anyways, this might be my favorite game of ALL time. I can't express how much i love it in this review. You will not regret playing.
Brought tears to my eyes
It has been long since I cried last time when playing a game, and this little, nostalgic one, made me cried so hard. My eyes are still sore today. I miss my grandma and everything in those good old days - they will never come back, we all know that painful truth, and this is the nature of growing up.
This game brought tons of precious memories, they flooded into my heart in a quiet early autumn evening. Once more I was sobbing like a baby. But I truly appreciate the ones who developed this wonderful, amazing game. Even with the ads, I love every single details about it.
P.S.
I read through all the letters at least a dozen times. They made my heart ache so bad. Can anyone please tell me how to ease the pain of memories?
