Great app, room to grow

I wanted to give some feedback. I am a drone operator, and many SW factors impact the safety of my flight, but the notifications are generally useless as is.

Can we have more control over push notifications? I’d like to turn off all high latitude KP alerts, and be able to toggle on mid latitude alerts. It would also be nice to be able to set a threshold for the push notification.. ex: KP4 or G1 or greater.

The notifications only provide value when they apply to my use case and location.

It would also be good to see a latency indicator. Are the app values up to date? If they aren’t, how do I know?

Otherwise, great app!

Edit: developer responded to this in a couple days. Hope to see suggestions integrated in the future!

Thank you for your feedback!
Currently it's not possible to set a threshold of geomagnetic storm notifications, but it's a good suggestion that we'll be looking into.
Space Weather data is up to date with only a few minutes lag between updates. All updates are automatically pushed so it stays up to date. You can always check the latest time values on the graphs to check.

Great app. Replaces all previous competitors

I am a solar physicist by training and had been using a different app to stay up to date, but that app was not maintained and was expensive.

This app has everything that I had hoped would be included, making it by far my top choice for looks at the Solar-Terrestrial interface, solar activity. Because it has so much, organizing it surely presented a challenge to the authors. Occasionally I’ll think, “I wish they had included __________” only to find that if I hit the right tab, the data I wanted is there! When new to the app, be sure to look around every corner. It includes data from SDO and STEREO, plus all of the usual solar-terrestrial indexes, images of the auroral zone etc.

Nice job!

Everything I need, and more

This app has all the features & data I wanted in a beautiful UI— even the free version. Kudos to the devs! The only thing I could ask for is ability to set user defined thresholds for the notifications. I’m not worried about turning off the power or sticking my phone in a faraday cage for anything lower than X class flares & CMEs, specifically >X10.0. It would be wonderful to have the ability to define the class & number threshold to reduce the number of notifications, especially during this peaking solar cycle.
