Description

Get addicted to building habits! Build Habits puts the power of addictive app design to good use. Discover habits built by the most successful people in the world. Achieve your personal goals by tracking bite sized habits daily, viewing your progress over time, and getting positive feedback for sticking to your self-improvement plans.

"If you're serious about improving your every moment with quantitative feedback, commit to Build Habits." - Jon Krohn, Oxford Neuroscience Ph.D (seriously, google him)

Why Build Habits?

ADDICTIVE DESIGN
Get started tracking your habits right away and take advantage of features taken from the most addicting mobile apps and leveraged to help you improve.

DISCOVER HABITS
Create your own custom habit or pick from a library of habits that are SMART - specific, measurable, attainable and relevant - and have been successfully adopted by other users.

MENTOR HABITS
See habits of people that you want to emulate. Download suggestions inspired by the habits of people like Elon Musk, Warren Buffett, Casey Neistat, Jerry Seinfeld, Ray Dalio, Barack Obama and more.

QUICK RECORD
Use a Tinder style interface to speed through your habits list, no matter how many you’re tracking. Spend less time tracking and more time building your life.

MULTIPLE HABIT TYPES
Track your habits binarily (complete vs incomplete) or quantitatively (like your weight over time).

NOTIFICATIONS
Set times to be reminded to complete habits to keep yourself on track.

Our users love it:
“Prior to discovering Build Habits, I was using seven different tools to track my habit performance across the aspects of my life that I iteratively improve through continuous measurement: weightlifting, running, diet, productivity, studying, reading, and mindfulness.

Working with this many separate applications was a time-consuming and cumbersome element of my morning routine, increasing the probability that I'd "fall off the wagon" intermittently.

In addition to dramatically simplifying my habit evaluation process and therefore keeping me on track (I have a 100% daily-evaluation completion rate over the past six months), Build Habits provides several other key benefits I can't now imagine being without.

First, it enables me to instantaneously visualise how derivations from individual habits impact -- positively or negatively -- the others. I can't understate how this feature alone has facilitated the identification and elimination of otherwise subtle and pernicious root causes of issues.

Second, I'm straightforwardly tracking more habits than ever before (34 at present). The resulting breadth and specificity of feedback is well worth the couple of minutes I invest in Build Habits each morning.

Third, and finally, Build Habits' lagging-indicator monitoring (e.g., "magnetically focused", "relaxed and content", "awoke feeling refreshed") equips me to arrange my habits in harmony with one another.

Acting in concert, my ever-evolving set of daily habits has culminated in a robust, purposeful, and flourishing life.”

Reaching Big Goals With Small Steps

A while back I have read an article about Kaizen - a Japanese habit-forming technique. The principle of this method is that it only takes one minute a day of performing a new task to form a lasting habit out of it. Once the mini habit is established, it grows into longer sessions. For a while I was looking for a way to keep me on track with habits I want to establish. With a very intuitive interface, this app allows me to painlessly track my progress and to discover new routines through the in-app search.

Used to be great

I used to use this app all the time. It was the best habit tracking app out there! I loved how it came with really good suggested habits as well. The problem is, I deleted it off my phone to free up space once I fell off with my habits, and when I tried to redownload it, it comes up with this screen to add habits right off the bat, but it doesn’t work. It says “downloaded” but won’t add the habits, thus not letting me click the continue button. I am very disappointed because I can’t find any other app nearly as good as this used to be. I tried reaching out via email a little bit ago, but never heard back.

I’m giving two stars because it used to be amazing (and back then I would’ve given 5), but it’s useless when I can’t even proceed to use it now. If I didn’t know how great this app used to be, it would definitely be one star.

PLEASE FIX THIS! I want to use this app again!

Great way to get on track (pun intended)

I love the simplicity of this app... you can see what others have done to build personal and professional success, reminders to take it slow and not try to tackle too much at once, quick way of checking your list. Very useful and intuitive!
