Description

Learn Salah/Namaz from scratch, memorize surahs of the Quran, learn Dua, and check prayer times. Suitable for beginners.

What is Namaz?
Namaz is the daily muslim prayer, also known as Salat or Salah. It is one of the five pillars of Islam and the best way of worshipping Allah the Almighty.

Description:
This app is an audio player for you to listen to the correct pronunciation of the prayers in Arabic. It will help you to learn the dua-invocations and parts of the Quran that are read inside the prayer. You will also have the texts in English transliteration and some illustrations to help you navigate through the process. All content is in accordance with the rules of the Hanafi school of law.

Important to understand, that this is a companion app, and it is not sufficient to fully learn the prayer on its own. We also strongly recommend that you learn to read Arabic, as English letters and phonemes are not sufficient to convey all sounds found in Arabic. Learning to read Arabic will allow you to perform your prayers in the best way and will give you access to the Holy Quran. The easiest and most effective way to learn both prayer and reading Arabic is to find a good teacher.

What’s New

Version 1.13.21

As-salaamu 3alaikum! In this version, we've made changes to the prayer time calculation. Now the default angle for Fajr is 18 degrees, which we believe to be the most correct opinion. You can change the calculation angles and other settings in the Prayer times menu on the main page. BarakaLlaahu feekum and Ramadan Mubarak!

Fantastic App……But

My Arabic dialect is poor, so I have had years of difficulty with reciting the prayers on my own as I’ve struggled to remember the Tashahhud word for word. This app has helped as I play it along as I pray. Thank you because I really need this.

However after reciting the Sura Al-Fatiha there’s another voice that pops out saying “Ameen”. It just sounds strange and doesn’t fit well with the Imam that’s reciting the prayers. My suggestion is to change that one piece and perhaps allow more customization of the app to hear different Imams and allowance of a few other Suras without paying towards a subscription.

Thank you so much developers

I love this app a lot. It helps me to memorize duas and reminds me of prayer times. It’s add free and even if you are a nonpremium member you can still have all the benefits of this app. Thank you so much to the people who created this beautiful and so useful app. In Shaa Allah for giving all the Muslims this kind of chance to learn about our religion you guys will be rewarded because it’s helping us without any payments it’s free, unlike other apps. (It’s so hard to find a generous app that helps you nowadays )

The best so far but a few suggestions

So far this has been the best app I’ve found but there are two things that would definitely make it better for me personally.

One would be having the option to choose whether or not you want the app to automatically play the next step or pause between steps and positions so you can manually play it when you’re ready..

The second would be having a example of some of the positions from the back angle (mainly the sitting position) just to ensure people who are learning are in the correct positions but other than that this app is put together very well
